We have two runners in the Bumper at Wetherby this afternoon, good luck to their owners!
Month: March 2017
Novice Hurdlers schooling
Two of our Novice Hurdle prospects, Dudette and Signify, each had their second hurdling session and are learning their trade.
They were right!
Mount Nelson, sire of The 100 Club horse Yoredoingwell, was highlighted by the Racing Post as a sire to follow at the Cheltenham Festival.
Penhill, named after the hill which overlooks Middleham’s High Moor gallop, duly won the Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle in impressive style.
Hopefully, Yoredoingwell will follow in his hoof prints!
Sire to follow at the Festival

Dudette’s debut
Our Apple Tree filly, now named Dudette, made her racecourse debut in the Mare’s Bumper at Catterick. Although finishing last of the eight runners she showed some promise as she’s bred to go further and didn’t handle the sharp track.

YOREDOINGWELL
The 100 Club horse’s racing name was selected at today’s stable visit by founder member Lindsay from all those submitted by members, and the winner is… YOREDOINGWELL.
Put him in your notebooks or better still, join the Club – You’ve got to be in to Win!!
