Yesterday, Dave Carter’s unraced gelding by Smadoun, Emporteparlafoule, was sat on for the first time. Great riding skills from Aidan!

Three of our unraced fillies worked on the Middleham schooling grounds today. Roberttown Rose and Lady Babs had their first try over hurdles and Signify jumped the larger, French-style hurdles.
Along Came Theo will now be the horse to fly The 100 Club flag. Theo is a strapping 7yo gelding by Vertical Speed and he started his racing career finishing 3rd to Supersundae who went on to win at the Cheltenham and Punchestown Festivals and finish 2nd at Aintree.
A stable visit for Club members and their guests will be held on Saturday October 14th, 10.00-12.00. Anyone else considering joining the Club will also be welcome to attend and meet Theo, just let us know you’ll be visiting!

Two of our unraced horses returned to the yard last week, both are exciting prospects for owners Marg Hodgson and Dave Carter.
Just Call Me Jenni, an unraced Alflora mare, had a set back and was given time to recover.
Emporteparlefoule was bought as a 2yo last year and has been given time to develop, which he duly has done!
Several owners visited the yard to see their horses in action yesterday, all on schedule for an exciting season ahead.

The sun shone and a great time was had by all at Emma and Boo’s wedding yesterday.
Today is the wedding day of Andy & Jackie’s daughter Emma and her financé George (‘Boo’). Wishing health and happiness to you both!
